Jordi Williams posits a new spirituality and understanding of the natural through cheap plastic commodity, interrogating the everyday through a combination of brightly colored assemblages, saturated photographs, and immersive installations. Recent projects include Starting Fires in Tampa, FL, InLight in Richmond, VA, and Creative Dishonesty: Cheat Codes in Durham, NC. Williams currently resides and works in Virginia. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University and received her MFA in studio art at the University of South Florida.
