Viewers are invited to lounge on Astroturf and aluminum foil covered seating among the bulbous space plants that dot a silver Mylar and Astroturf lined room. Peering into the black‐lit glow past drifts of ambient fog, viewers are greeted by the orange head of Heaven’s Gate leader Marshall Applewhite phasing in and out as he speaks from a wall mounted LCD screen. A tall man in a black jump suit wanders in periodically to whisper to the plants and play spacey sounds on his keyboard altar.
